Okey, today post will be a bit different from all the previous post, I just want to share my view on the current issue between the government of Malaysia and the bloggers.

Please refer The Star, Wednesday August 2, 2006.

Title : Bloggers beware (front page)

Kuala Terengganu: The Prime Minister has issued a warning – those who spread untruths and slander on the internet will face the law.

If information in blogs, websites and online portals were incorrect, bordered on slander, caused disturbance or compelled the public to lose faith in the nation’s economic policies, their author would be detained for investigation, said Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

“We cannot allow such matters to flow through uncontrolled.”……

From my point of view:

Blog – where we, bloggers express our self and also our thought. This is just the way for me to express my self about anything. Moreover Malaysia is a free country! We live under a democracy so I think that I am permitted to write freely on anything.

Moreover, our people, the MALAYS, should speak up. Stand up and help the government if the government did something wrong. Not just talk at a Kedai Kopi. We should express our self up, don’t be cowards. We are the MELAYU BARU. And government should give us a space to express our self up. I’m just 19 years old,and started blogging since I was 18 years old. And I think if I would like to comment on something, should I make an appointment with the Prime Minister? I think it is unnecessary for me to do so, The PM have lot’s of work to do. Can you imagine if there are 100 people who would like to express their thought, and it would be a busy day for our PM.

For what I’ve write in my blog, no matter I express it, in my own written poem (http://ice-coffee.blogspot.com) , photograph (http://thir13en-str33t.blogspot.com) or even in my diary (http://icedhot-choc.blogspot.com) (http://illusion-choc.blogspot.com) . I hope people will read it and hope so that the reader could understand and got what I’m trying to say. And hope the message was express clearly.

Sorry if this post making matter worse. Just gave us some space to express our self kay (^_^) or maybe the government could gave a space, maybe a portal/forum for us to share our thought with the government.

Remember this - Mengkritik bukan bererti menentang, Memuji tidak semestinya menyokong, Menegur tidak bermakna membenci!
